Welcome to POP Dominican Travel. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and the booking of our tours, excursions, and transfer services in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.

By accessing this website and booking a service with us, we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use POP Dominican Travel’s website or services if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

1. Booking and Payments

Pricing: All prices listed on our website are in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without prior notice, but any bookings already confirmed will be honored at the original price.
Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking through our secure online checkout to guarantee your reservation.
Confirmation: Upon successful payment, you will receive a booking confirmation email with your e-ticket, meeting instructions, and contact details. Please present this confirmation (digitally or printed) on the day of your tour.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

All cancellations, modifications, and refund requests are governed strictly by our official Refund and Cancellation Policy. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you also acknowledge and accept the terms outlined in that policy, including our 24-hour cancellation rule and our Cruise Ship Passenger Guarantee.

3. Itinerary Changes and Weather

Operational Changes: POP Dominican Travel reserves the right to alter itineraries, change schedules, or substitute vehicles/vessels if necessary due to operational requirements, traffic, or safety concerns.
Weather: Tours operate rain or shine unless the weather conditions create a safety hazard. The decision to cancel or modify a tour due to weather rests solely with POP Dominican Travel management and our certified guides.

4. Passenger Responsibilities & Code of Conduct

Punctuality: Guests must arrive at the designated meeting point (e.g., Taino Bay, Amber Cove, or hotel lobby) at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. We are not responsible for guests who miss their tour due to tardiness.
Health and Fitness: Some excursions require a minimum level of physical fitness. It is your responsibility to ensure you are physically fit to participate. Guests with pre-existing medical conditions, mobility issues, or pregnant individuals must inform us prior to booking.
Behavior: We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate the participation of any guest whose behavior is disruptive, intoxicated, aggressive, or poses a safety risk to themselves, our staff, or other guests, without any refund.

5. Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk

By booking a tour with POP Dominican Travel, you acknowledge that certain activities (including but not limited to ATV riding, ziplining, swimming, and hiking) carry inherent risks of personal injury, property damage, or even death.

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with your participation.
POP Dominican Travel, its owners, employees, and third-party contractors shall not be held liable for any personal injury, illness, loss, or damage to personal property occurring during the tour, except in cases of proven gross negligence on our part.

6. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, POP Dominican Travel owns the intellectual property rights for all material on this website, including texts, images, and logos. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may view and/or print pages for your own personal use subject to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

7. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Dominican Republic. Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Dominican Republic.
